Swordfish have a special internal heating organ that can heat up their head when they are in colder water. It helps them get warm at their maximum depth (see Habitat). I am amazed that swordfish can go 65 mph. Their sword and their sleek body help swordfish. The sword helps by splitting the water ahead of them (see sword). The slender body can then glide behind the sword, speeding up very fast.
